Join Ibec for the final Inclusive Leadership Forum of 2025, at Ibec, on 12 November. Ibec’s Inclusive Leadership Forum is a network of almost 600 professionals with a responsibility for fostering Diversity and Inclusion in their organisations. The forum provides practical insights and key take-aways for employers seeking to enhance inclusion in the workplace.

November’s forum will explore how businesses can use assistive technologies to aid enablement for individuals with intellectual needs and effective application of reasonable accommodations. We are delighted to be joined by Amanda Jolliffe, Dream Space Lead at Microsoft, and colleague Emma McGrath, Dream Space Administration Intern, who will share their experience of engaging with the TCPID programme from both employer and employee perspectives.

Together they will share insights on how they have utilised AI tools to support Emma’s development during her internship. Delegates will learn how assistive technologies can be used to aid enablement for individuals with different intellectual abilities and how AI prompts can be used effectively to break down tasks and provide clear instructions that enable individuals based on specific intellectual needs.

John Fulham is the Public Engagement Manager at Irish Wheelchair Association, whose strategic vision is for people with disabilities to have equal rights, choices and opportunities in how they leave their lives. John is also joining us to share his lived experience of working in and with businesses, and discuss the type of challenges people with disabilities face daily.

By openly addressing the concerns both people with disabilities and people with management responsibilities have about disability in the working world, and through a small reframing of approach to Diversity and Inclusion, John believes simple solutions can be found to help make the culture of our work offices a place our people will want to be.

We aim to ensure all people have equal access to Ibec events. If you need alternative formats or other reasonable accommodations, please advise megan.osullivan-sweeney@ibec.ie prior to the event by email.
