This two (full) day virtual course (13th and 14th June) will save businesses in energy costs and provide practical instruction on how to implement a robust Energy Management System.
Whether the plan is to fully implement an ISO50001 standard or
not, the framework is really useful to understand key areas where it is possible to save on energy, monitor usage and improve on reporting.
This course, is designed to provide a step-by-step
guide to the implementation of an Energy Management System. It is structured to
give participants the knowledge and confidence to design and implement an
Energy Management System within their own organisation.
The course will suit companies who either want
formal certification of their Energy Management System or simply ensure best
energy and sustainability practices. Small numbers ensure opportunities to ask questions and learn effectively.
Day 1 is focussed on (i) energy review, (ii) data collection plan, (iii) setting energy objectives, (iv) operational controls, and (v) performance evaluation.
Day 2 introduces useful templates, checklists and documentation with learners given an opportunity to undertake practical exercises with expert guidance.
This engaging two-day course will incorporate examples and case studies of
companies who have successfully achieved energy savings, and will be practical
in nature.
The Engineering Skillnet is co-funded by Skillnet Ireland and
