This is a two full-day course delivered on-line with practical case studies and examples. The course is available on-demand and on this run, the dates are June 13th and June 14th (consecutively).
By putting effective systems in place for environmental management, all businesses can reduce costs and ensure compliance. Being better prepared for future sustainability reporting also creates a new source of competitive advantage.
Whether the plan is to fully implement an ISO50001 standard or not, the framework is really useful to understand key data points to collect, monitor and improve upon these to reduce energy costs. This course, is designed to provide a step-by-step guide to the implementation of an Energy Management System. It is structured to give participants the knowledge and confidence to design and implement an Energy Management System within their own organisation.
The two-day course is expert-delivered and will be practical in nature.
The course will also be of interest to companies, including SME's, who do not necessarily wish to move towards formal certification of their Energy Management System but who wish to reduce their impact on the environment in terms of greenhouse gas emissions reductions and incorporate best energy practices.
The Engineering Skillnet is co-funded by Skillnet Ireland and
member companies. Skillnet Ireland is funded from the National Training Fund
through the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation
and Science.
