We welcome you to attend a webinar on Gender Identity and Expression in the Workplace.
Transgender and gender variant people are active members of Irish society and play an important role in organisations across the country. It is estimated that 1% of the population will experience some form of gender variance. This means that many organisations will have transgender employees as part of their workforce or will liaise with transgender candidates as part of the recruitment process.
Join us at this webinar where we will discuss how best employers can support transgender individuals in their workplace. We will also launch guidance on gender identity and expression in the workplace created by Ibec and endorsed by the Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI).
- Maeve McElwee, Director of Employer Relations, Ibec will open the session
- Briana Duffy, Employer Relations Executive, Ibec will present an overview of the gender identity and gender expression guidance Ibec has created for member companies
- Kara McGann, Head of Social Policy, Ibec, will lead a conversation on the topic of gender expression and gender identity in the workplace with Sara Phillips, Chair, TENI and Mícheál O’Leary, Organisational Effectiveness & Employee Experience Manager, the Central Bank of Ireland.
