Ibec Business Leaders Summit agenda - update pdf | 288 kb

Redefining competitiveness and the social agenda.

The Ibec Business Leaders Summit 2022 is a unique think-tank styled event for members of the Ibec National Council and key CEO and political stakeholders.

The Summit will take place across 2 days (28-9 April) and its purpose will be to put the ‘S’ in ESG into context for business and discuss its implications for competitiveness and reputation.

The central question for business now is how to maintain competitiveness while managing relationships with its workforce, the societies in which it operates and the political environment. The Summit will look at how organisations deal with broader social trends, labour, and politics with the impact of modern supply-chain systems and the adoption of technology across all business sectors being put into the spotlight.

It is now clear that an organisations’ reputation – its license to operate – will be a function of how it engages and manages its stakeholders and how it communicates that responsibility – the ‘S’ to its stakeholders in a clear and transparent way.

Delegates can expect:

  • 28 April | 7pm onwards: Gala dinner, networking and guest speaker Mary Lou McDonald, TD
  • 29 April | 8.15am onwards: Breakfast briefing main plenary session, facilitated breakout sessions and lunch. Summit closes at 2pm.

Please note that this is an exclusive event, and attendance is by non-transferable invite only (subject to a booking fee).
