About

This webinar is aimed to helping business participants, particularly small businesses:
Understand ransomware threats
Impacts of ransomware attacks on businesses
Cyber security practices to  mitigate against ransomware incidents

Ransomware is an all-too prevalent form of malware (malicious software) designed to prevent a victim from accessing their computer/device/system (or the data that is stored on it). An infected device/system may become locked, or the data on it might be stolen, deleted, or encrypted. Criminals may then demand a ransom in exchange for decryption. Organisations large and small have been subject to ransomware attacks during the pandemic.
Good cyber security practices can help prevent the likelihood of a ransomware incident occurring.
