About

The challenges of the pandemic have impacted almost every sector of employment in Ireland in various ways. As the economy moves towards full reopening, there has been a surge in demand for skills and workers and concerns over labour shortages have emerged.

To address some of these issues Ibec and the Department of Social Protection will host this event ‘Labour Market Challenges & Solutions’, 10.30am, 13 October, virtually, to bring members together with agencies and other employers to offer insights into the range of employer supports; activation programmes and employer engagement opportunities that can support these challenges. We also want to hear your views on the issues arising in your workplace.
