About

On 1 January 2021, the Brexit transition period ended, ceasing the participation of the UK in the EU Single Market and Customs Union. This has brought substantive changes for companies importing or exporting to Britain, or who have supply chains transiting through the UK.

In this webinar, members of the European Commission Task Force for Relations with the UK will provide a briefing on the Trade and Cooperation Agreement reached between the EU and the UK covering:

  • Trade in goods: Market access, customs and rules of origin
  • Trade in services: Digital trade and data flows, and financial services
  • Competition and standards: Level playing field, Dispute Settlement, and Non-regression of standards
  • Protocol on Ireland / Northern Ireland

Ibec Director of EU and International Affairs Pat Ivory will host the session, which will include opportunities for your questions to be addressed. Given the anticipated volume of questions, members are asked to submit your questions in advance when registering or directly to andra.bodoni@ibec.ie. We cannot guarantee all those submitted will be addressed during the webinar. However, the Ibec team will revert with a direct response to those unaddressed.

As this webinar is exclusively for Ibec member companies, you must register with your company email address.
