Research, Development & Innovation (RD&I) incentives are critical in attracting both foreign direct investment into Ireland and nurturing indigenous enterprises, allowing Ireland to compete with other jurisdictions on a European and global level. In addition to the R&D tax credit regime, and the more recent Knowledge Development Box (KDB), a range of cash grants are available from Irish governmental agencies to support RD&I activities.
During this webcast Ian Collins, Partner & Head of Innovation Incentives and Dr. Ross Mc Kiernan, Senior Manager, Innovation Incentives, EY Ireland will present an overview of this suite of incentives, with a particular lens on the R&D tax credit regime, highlighting common pitfalls and sharing some tips and recommendations to assist companies in availing of and maximising these supports.
