Description:
On 1 January 2021, the Brexit transition period will end, ceasing the participation of the UK in the EU Single Market and Customs Union. Regardless of the outcome of the ongoing negotiations between the EU and the UK on their future relationship, the end of the transition period will bring substantive changes for companies importing or exporting to Britain, or who have supply chains transiting through the UK.
In this interactive event on the “Microsoft Teams” platform, speakers from Ibec, NSAI, HSE Business Services and Revenue will answer queries and provide advice for companies on changes to CE Marking products and standardisation, HSE perspectives on Brexit readiness and logistics risks, customs procedures following the UK’s departure from the EU. The session is primarily intended for medtech and engineering companies, but is open to all Ibec members.
