Gary Hamel 
Gary Hamel  Founder of Strategos

Jennifer Petriglieri
Jennifer Petriglieri Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour, INSEAD

Jennifer Petriglieri is an associate professor of organisational behaviour at INSEAD. She directs the Executive Education Management Acceleration Programme, the Women Leaders Programme and the INSEAD Gender Diversity Programme.

An award-winning researcher and teacher, Petriglieri was shortlisted for the Talent award in 2017 and shortlisted for the Radar New Thinker award in 2015 by Thinkers50, the ranking of the most influential management authors in the world. She was also included among the world’s best 40 business school professors under 40 by Poets & Quants.

Petriglieri’s research investigates how individuals craft and sustain their personal and professional identities in contexts characterised by high uncertainty, such as mobile careers or organisations and professions in crisis. Her writing has appeared in the Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Learning & Education, and the Journal of Organizational Change Management. It has also been featured in the Business Week and the Harvard Business Review. She is the author of a book entitled “Couples That Work” (HBR Press, 2019), which explores how working couples can thrive in love and in work.

Petriglieri has long been involved in experiential leadership development initiatives for multinationals from a variety of industries. Her work in this domain pays particular attention to the interplay between individuals’ life stories and group memberships and their decision-making and professional style in leadership roles.

Prior to working within corporate wellbeing she has worked within the provision of psychological support services, providing support to children, adolescents and families experiencing a range of psychosocial problems, including; mental health, domestic abuse, relationship breakdowns, chronic health conditions and homelessness. She is skilled within Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and is also a practitioner of Mindfulness & Meditation. She has worked and volunteered within the UK, South East Asia and South America and is also an accredited yoga teacher.

Ray Coyne
Ray Coyne Chief Executive Officer, Dublin Bus

Ray Coyne has had a long and successful career with Dublin Bus. He was the Project Manager for the strategic redesign of the public bus transport system (Network Direct) in Dublin from 2009 to 2011. This was the largest revision of a public transport network in Europe. The implementation has proven to be successful, resulting in improved financial stability, increased customer usage and improved product understanding for customers. He was appointed Human Resource Manager in 2011 and in 2015 he was made Chief Executive Officer of the company. During his tenure as CEO, Dublin Bus has seen consistent growth and last year carried 142 million customers, a 5% increase on 2018.

Fiona Tierney
Fiona Tierney Spokesperson, Balance for Better Business

Fiona Tierney is an experienced non-executive director, with a successful career history of leadership in the public and private sectors.

Currently serving as a non-executive director on the board of eir and of Wells Fargo Bank International UC, Fiona is Chair of the Audit Committee in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General and is a Trustee of the Irish Management Institute (IMI), Ireland’s leading provider of executive education, ranked in the FT Global Top 50; and of Pieta House, a charity in Ireland focussed on the prevention of suicide.

Fiona was appointed by Government in 2018 to ‘Better Balance for Better Business’, a business-led working group examining gender representation in leadership of Irish business. She was also appointed by the Taoiseach in 2019 as a member of the Top Level Appointments Committee (TLAC), a standing interview board which recommends candidates to Ministers and to Government for appointment at the most senior levels of the Irish civil service.

Fiona previously held the position of CEO of Ireland’s Public Appointments Service (PAS) from 2012 – 2018, where she was central to the introduction of a new process for making appointments to State Boards. Prior to that she worked in executive search and in management consulting (Hay Group), building on a long and successful career in Ireland’s largest telecommunications company, eircom.

Educated at Trinity College, Dublin (BA (Mod) in Economics and Political Science) and at University College Dublin (Masters in Public Administration), Fiona is a Chartered Director of the Institute of Directors.
