The event will focus on future fraud and possible risks to consumers’ health emerging from fraudulent activity, and new and changing hazards in food systems. Speakers will seek to address how this issue is being prioritised nationally and across Europe. Speakers have been selected from a range of government agencies, industry, non-governmental organisations and academia. 
The Official Controls Regulation was updated during 2019 and this seminar will also provide participants with an opportunity to hear first-hand where these new rules are focused specifically on food fraud and other emerging threats.
