One Touch is a market leader in the provision of Homecare Management Solutions, that are a key enabler for efficient Homecare services. Their Connected Health Platform provides solutions that support Homecare management companies across Ireland and the UK to manage their Clients & Care professionals (Carers/Nurses). This platform delivers a suite of Care Management features that enable Homecare companies to effectively manage all aspects of their business, from scheduling carers/client appointments to managing client care plans and invoicing while also offering real-time communication between staff working remotely and their administrators. Brian will provide an overview of their Connected Health Platform and how it supports Homecare Management companies to deliver the best possible care experience to support people to live longer and healthier in their own homes. Collette will share Comfort Keepers' experience using the platform.

NetwellCASALA at Dundalk Institute of Technology, creates new ideas that enhance the quality of life and well-being of older people and those who care for them, through more integrated community-oriented services, more sustainable home and neighbourhood design, and more age-friendly technologies - with the ultimate aim of enhancing longer living in smarter places. Julie is the Director of NetwellCASALA. Her background is in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and digital health technologies, with a focus on designing and evaluating intuitive and useful health and wellbeing technologies for older adults and those who support their care. Julie will provide an overview of the ProACT platform which supports people with single or multiple chronic conditions to self-manage their health and wellbeing at home with support from a care network and monitored by clinical triage. Mary will share her user experience using the platform as the Clinical Nurse Manager with Caredoc. This seminar will hear from speakers who will provide an insight into a selection of emerging technologies that support connected healthcare solutions in the community.
