About
To help combat climate change, Ireland has committed to a low carbon transition. For business this will create challenges and opportunities. Critically, all businesses will need to rethink how they use energy. It will require significant investment in building/plant efficiency, new technologies, alternative fuels, and energy performance management systems. This will not be easy or cheap. Government support is key to helping businesses make the transition.
This November and December, as part of Ibec’s Better Lives, Better Business campaign, Ibec will run a series of webinars showcasing the supports and incentives on offer to businesses that want to reduce energy costs, switch to renewables, and improve their carbon footprint. The webinars are being run in partnership with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI).
