LearnUpon was today named Technology Ireland Company of the Year at the annual Technology Ireland Awards at the Mansion House, Dublin. Technology Ireland is the Ibec group that represents the sector. The event was supported by platinum sponsors Vhi Healthcare, and gold sponsors Bank of Ireland, ByrneWallace and Enterprise Ireland.
LearnUpon is an Irish tech company, headquartered in Dublin, employs over 70 people and has offices in Belgrade, Sydney, and Philadelphia. LearnUpon is a Learning Management System that helps organisations to train their employees, partners, and customers. The platform enables global businesses to manage, track, and achieve their diverse learning goals through a single, powerful solution.
Presenting the Award, Technology Ireland Director Una Fitzpatrick said: “Established in 2012, LearnUpon is one of the fastest growing LMSs on the market today with over 1,000 clients including TripAdvisor, Twilio, Vauxhall, Herman Miller, PING, and Allstate. LearnUpon's rapid growth has been driven off designing and developing a platform that is quick to setup, easy to use for customers and a platform which can be effectively and rapidly scaled globally”.

Noel King, co-founder of Coolest Projects was named Technology Ireland Person of the Year 2018. CoderDojo Coolest Projects is a world leading technology showcase that inspires the next generation of digital creators, innovators, changemakers and entrepreneurs.
The CoderDojo Coolest Projects showcase offers young people, aged seven to seventeen, from the Irish and international CoderDojo Communities the opportunity to showcase projects they have created at their local CoderDojo. It is both a competition and exhibition to showcase, inspire and enable innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship and technology skills in youth innovators.
Noel does all this in addition to his day job, where he is VP for Engineering at VSWare an Irish software company providing cloud-based administration systems to the education sector.
