Social Media and the Workplace
Our next HR Forum will focus on the management of social media at work. We have divided this into both the negative elements of work place social media and the positive.
Catriona McKeating, Solicitor Ibec, will cover the management of social media at work. She will consider the HR perspective, including policies and best practice, and review relevant legislation and case law. We are delighted to have Cathal Melinn from the Digital Marketing Institute who will give guidance on how social media can be used as a positive tool to enhance your brand, reputation and assist with attracting and retaining employees
Following on from the social media session, Lorraine Parkes, Senior Executive, Ibec will give a general employment legislative update.
Our HR Clinic will take place from 10.00am to 10.30am where advisors from our Knowledge Centre will be available to assist with any HR queries that members may have. There is no need to book a time for the clinic, however if complex issues arise a further meeting with the Knowledge Centre team can be arranged.
This is a free event and while numbers of attendees are not limited from members companies, booking is essential. Should you wish to attend or be represented please reserve your place.

Any cancellations received in writing up to two weeks prior to the event are refundable. All bookings are provisional until full payment is received.
