In March 2014 the Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF) launched a resource pack aimed at helping managers and workers to support their colleagues affected by bereavement in the workplace. Grief is something which all employees experience and which will inevitably, also impact on their colleagues in some way. Managers and colleagues want to do the right thing but are often unsure about how to support the person. The resources available are to help organisations and staff to understand grief, the impact it has on the bereaved and their colleagues and ways in which they can be positively supported.
