The Building Materials Federation has three affiliate associations.

Concrete Manufacturers Association of Ireland
Irish Plastic Pipe Manufacturers Association
Cement Manufacturers Ireland
Irish Decorative Coatings Association - IDSCA

Concrete Manufacturers Association of Ireland
Membership comprises companies engaged in the manufacture of ready mixed concrete and concrete blocks.
Personnel from CMAI member companies participate in various CEN committees, which are drafting European standards for concrete, masonry, mortar and aggregates.

Irish Plastic Pipe Manufacturers Association
The principal objective of this Association is to promote the use of plastic pipe systems in construction works.
The IPPMA is a member of the European Plastic Pipes and Fittings Association (TEPPFA). Through TEPPFA, financial support is given to the Secretariat of CEN TC155, the Technical Committee responsible for drafting European standards for plastic pipes. In addition, IPPMA companies are represented directly on this Technical Committee.

Cement Manufacturers Ireland
Membership comprises companies engaged in the manufacture of cement products for the construction sector. The Association is affiliated to CEMBUREAU, the association representing the European Cement Manufacturing Industry. Member companies also participate in the various CEN committees, which are drafting European standards.

Irish Decorative Surface Coatings Association - IDSCA

The IDSCA represents manufacturers and distributors of paint and coatings products in Ireland.

The Association is committed to the development of the industry in Ireland. It is working closely with a number of partners to achieve the highest possible standards for the Irish industry.

The objectives of the Association are:

To represent the decorative surface coatings industry in matters of common interest relevant to the industry. Such matters include issues relating to technical standards, health, safety and environment matters, transportation, energy, quality control issues and new and proposed legislation;
To communicate the industry's views on all issues and policy developments;
To liase with authorities and agencies both national and European in matters related to decorative surface coatings;
To agree and to implement as appropriate, general codes of practice, general guidelines and other similar initiatives related to decorative surface coatings;
To keep members informed of relevant regulatory and industry developments;
To promote the use of decorative surface coatings;
