Research unit

IBEC's research unit is responsible for the regular and systematic collection of data on rates of pay and conditions of employment, and for surveying key business policy issues. It conducts annual and one-off surveys on a broad range of issues, based on member feedback and current business priorities.

Current research projects include the collection of pay and conditions data for over 250 different job titles across a number of industry sectors, as well as examining issues such as business confidence, business activity, credit availability, pay policy and business costs.

Our findings are disseminated to members in order to inform them of current trends which may impact on their organisation or business. IBEC also uses the findings from our research to inform and support our policy and lobbying work.

To participate in any of our surveys or to find out more about IBEC's research activity please contact any member of the research team or email research@ibec.ie
