Title: ICCA/BICSc Training Scheme

Information to all members on the ICCA/BICS Training Scheme

The process is as follows:

Step 1
Payment of annual subscription fee appropriate to your company size.

Turnover < €5m - €150.00.
Turnover > €5m <10m - €350.00.
Turnover > €5m - €550.00.

Cheque made payable to ICCA and sent to Avine McNally at IBEC. This payment is per calendar year and must be paid prior to application for Foundation Booklets.

Step 2
Site inspection to ensure your company is in a position to deliver the required training.

If your company is currently authorised by BICSc to deliver COPC training you do not require the site inspection visit. In the event you do require the site visit it will be provided by Mike Sweeney (087 6762694). He will check you have the necessary resources to deliver the appropriate training. Each company must have a competent trainer and a current BICSc registered Assessor who will have assessed the training given. If you are not involved in the delivery of COPC certification with BICSc (Assessors, Moderated Premises etc) you will require two visits from Mike Sweeney per annum. The cost will be in the region of €180.00 per visit.

Step 3
Apply to Avine McNally at IBEC for the required number of Foundation Booklets. These are basically the training record, which will be completed by the trainer and independently assessed by your own in house BICSc registered Assessor. The cost per booklet is €3.00 + VAT. A letter requesting the booklet accompanied by the appropriate fee will suffice.

Step 4
The completed Certificate Request Form is returned to Avine McNally at IBEC, accompanied by the appropriate fee of €4.00 + VAT per certificate. The certificates will be returned as soon as possible. The booklet should be retained for inspection by Mike Sweeney during his next visit.
