The IBEC North East Region offer services to companies in counties Cavan, Monaghan, Louth and Meath.
The North East Regional Executive Council (REC) represents IBEC’s membership in these area's and comprise of small and medium sized businesses as well as large indigenous and foreign owned operations. IBEC influences decision making and policy formulation in the interest of its members in the region with the objective of promoting enterprise and meaningful employment.
The REC is active in a range of policy areas that influence work and living in the region, these include:
- Transportation and infrastructure
- Local government
- Waste management
- Innovation
- Energy
- Social infrastructure
- Employment
The REC meets on a regular basis throughout the year and provides input into IBEC National Policy on behalf of the region. The president is Caroline McQuaid, Divisional HR Manager for Rye Valley foods
