Minister signs orders in respect of JLC system

On 29 January 2014, the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton, TD, signed Orders giving effect to recommendations contained in the Labour Court Review of the Joint Labour Committees which was published on 2 October 2013. The government’s decision to retain the out-dated JLC wage setting system has been criticised by Ibec.
