Business community ambition

Ibec believes that the Irish economy can grow by an average of 3% to 4% every year over the next 20 years. We’re not there yet, but Ibec and Irish business, working with government, can make it happen.

Business can generate the growth needed to create jobs, overcome our debt burden and deliver the prosperity, public services, and quality of life that this country can legitimately aspire to. There is no reason why Ireland cannot be one of the EU’s most prosperous and successful regions, and the best country in the world to do business.

Ibec and the business community believe that if we deliver on the Ireland that works 5 campaign priorities, then we can achieve the ambitions below.
