European Affairs & Trade Policy Committee
Ibec's European Affairs &Trade Policy Committee keeps a watching brief of all significant European, international and trade developments in order to get an overall view of where developments are going and what the implications are for Ireland and our competitiveness. The Committee has primary responsibility for Ibec positions on horizontal EU and international issues as well as trade policy including institutional developments, any Treaty changes, EU Budget and the rolling priorities of the various institutions and the Council Presidencies as well as well as negotiations on trade deals and other international issues.
The Committee is composed of members across the Ibec membership and representing all major sectors and normally meets four times a year. For more information or to participate in the committee's meetings and activities, please contact any member of our EU & International Affairs Unit.
