Telecommunications and Internet Federation

The IBEC Telecommunications and Internet Federation (TIF) is the representative body for leading industry and associated interest groups in the field of electronic communications. TIF represents companies involved in fixed, mobile, wireless, fixed wireless, satellite and cable based service provisions, outsourcing and internet service provision. We currently have over 70 members. Member Services include: Representation on telecom policy issues to Government, Oireachtas Committees, the European Commission, ComReg and other relevant bodies, Access to wider IBEC services and activities, Networking opportunities at events such as The TIF Annual Conference, The Annual Telecoms Industry Charity Ball, Telecoms and Technology members evenings and direct services such as seminars, workshops and industry group meetings. TIF advocates for the long term interests of participants in the electronics communications industry in Ireland. Current issues include the roll out of next generation networks and services, as well as Ireland's broadband future , the digital dividend, spectrum management issues, advertising standards for telecommunications and telecommunications regulatory issues. TIF policy documents, submissions and publications, as well as press releases, details of events and an overview of the telecoms sector are available on the TIF website.
