ICT Ireland

ICT Ireland is the representative lobby group for the high tech or knowledge sector. Our membership is made up of the leading players in the Irish technology sector, as well as many early stage hi-tech companies and telecommunications companies. The vision of ICT Ireland is to maximise the contribution of these companies to Irish society and the economy. ICT Ireland represents its members to the government, it's agencies, regulators, customers and consumers, creating an environment where technology can transform and create a 'connected' society and economy. ICT Ireland is focused on where we can make a difference: influencing policy; improving markets and supply chains; providing information and helping members to grow their business. Member benefits and services ICT Ireland is a membership organisation, and its work programme is driven wholly by the interests and needs of its members. Membership of ICT Ireland will ensure that your company is better represented, better informed and better prepared to meet the challenges of the marketplace. The association provides leadership and direction on a number of key strategic issues, including ensuring that Ireland is a competitive location for ICT investment - both by foreign owned and Irish owned organisations, skills required by knowledge driven industries, the development of a true knowledge society, the creation of a 21st century learning and teaching environment, trade & customs matters, environmental policy, the reduction of energy costs and research and development investment in Ireland. ICT Ireland works closely with key government ministers, senior public officials, agencies and has excellent links with EU institutions. In addition to the specific services offered by ICT Ireland, comprehensive members also have automatic access to IBEC’s membership services, including access to human resource/employee relations expertise, business information services and a wide range of social, economic and enterprise policy areas. Members are strongly encouraged to raise issues of concern with ICT Ireland executives, participate in ICT Ireland events and network with other members.
